Today was the transfer meeting for Gracie. The doctors came back saying that Grace is very stable and she can be transferred on Thursday...yes, that is two days from now!! I can't believe it...I was thinking it would still be 1-2 more weeks. They are fast if it is a great time for her. They said since she is doing so well, this is the perfect window of opportunity. Please pray that she will be strong through this transfer over the Cascade mountains. It is very late and I'm exhausted...I'll post more in the morning.
From Monday; I'll leave a few pictures of a great couple who invited us over for dinner and family home evening. It was so nice and relaxing. Meghan and Katie are here with me so we were all there. Rachel made a wonderful roast with vegetables, homemade rolls and cookies for dessert. We sang "Love is Spoken Here" in rounds. It was great. Rachel gave the lesson from 1 Nephi and likened it to our lives with doing what God wants, not what men want, even if get teased from others. Heavenly Father will take care of us and guide us when we put him first. Then we all played a very fun card game...I can't remember the name of it though. Something like the Great Houdini, but that's not the name of it. It is very fun to meet new people and this couple is extraordinary. She is an actress from Los Angeles and is writing her own play right now. Both of them have such great personalities! We had a blast!
